AI for Fantasy Football, in Claude & ChatGPT
League Loom is a free, read-only connector that brings your ESPN, Sleeper or Fantrax NFL league into Claude and ChatGPT, so start/sit, waiver, trade and matchup answers use your actual roster and scoring.
Add it on a computer, then ask in Claude's phone app or ChatGPT on the web. This NFL hub links a deeper page for each decision.

Why League Loom
In-season NFL decisions, first
Most AI fantasy tools only know what you type into the chat, so the advice goes stale the moment your matchup changes or a player gets ruled out. League Loom instead reads your live ESPN, Sleeper, or Fantrax league data directly, so the AI always sees your current roster, bench, standings, and this week's matchup before it answers.
Ask a start/sit question and it compares projected points, matchup difficulty, and role for both players from your actual league, not a generic ranking list. Ask about waivers and it can pull the ranked list of available players and trending adds so you're not guessing who's worth a claim. Before kickoff, it can run a lineup check across your starters and flag anyone on bye or listed with an injury designation, so you don't leave points on the bench by accident.
It's also one of the only connectors that supports Fantrax NFL leagues, including IDP and salary/contract details serious keeper and dynasty players track. All of this happens inside the AI chat you already use, with no copying stats back and forth.
FAQ
Questions
Which fantasy football platforms work?
ESPN, Sleeper, and Fantrax NFL leagues all connect. Public ESPN leagues need nothing; private ones use your espn_s2 and SWID cookies. Sleeper needs just your username.
Can the AI change my lineup?
Current connector tools use league data to answer questions; no write-action tools are registered today.
Does it cost anything?
No. The League Loom connector is free, with no subscription and no per-league fee. Connect once at leagueloom.com/mcp and start asking. Fair-use request budgets apply.
Can AI set my fantasy football lineup automatically?
No current tool can change a lineup or account. A credential alone never counts as consent, and any future write tool must require your explicit confirmation.
Can AI tell me if my players are on bye or injured this week?
Yes. League Loom can run a lineup check on your starters and flag bye weeks and injury designations pulled from your league data, and it surfaces the same injury and bye status on the ranked available-player list for waiver decisions.
Does the AI know my league's specific scoring and roster rules?
Yes. It reads your league's actual settings, PPR or standard scoring, starting lineup slots, bench and IR size, waiver type and FAAB budget, and playoff format, then explains them in plain English instead of assuming default rules.
Can I set League Loom up on my phone?
Add the connector on a computer: claude.ai or Claude Desktop, or ChatGPT on the web. What works on a phone afterward depends on the assistant. In Claude, a connector added on the web or desktop is also available in the Claude iOS and Android apps, so you can ask about your leagues from your phone. In ChatGPT, custom apps like League Loom currently run only on the web, not in the ChatGPT phone apps. If you start on a phone, use Send to my computer to email or message yourself the link and finish later.
