Find your fit

Choose by platform and setup

Fantrax

League Loom supports Fantrax alongside ESPN and Sleeper. Check the sport and data coverage for your league.

Yahoo

Flaim documents Yahoo sign-in. League Loom does not currently support Yahoo.

ESPN and Sleeper

Both offer these hosts. Compare the setup method and try one question using your own roster.

Both services supply league context for an AI assistant to analyze, and neither submits roster moves. League Loom is a free hosted connector with Fantrax support.

Flaim documents Yahoo support, which League Loom does not offer. For ESPN, League Loom accepts a league URL for public leagues and browser cookies for private leagues; Flaim documents a Chrome extension for the initial ESPN sync.

Both connect Sleeper with a username. Flaim links directory listings for ChatGPT and Claude, while League Loom is added as a custom connector.

Review the provider-specific steps before choosing, especially if you are starting from a phone.

The basics

What is Flaim Fantasy?

Flaim Fantasy is a free connector, at flaim.app, that gives an AI assistant read access to your ESPN, Yahoo and Sleeper leagues so it can answer questions about your real roster, matchup, standings and waiver wire. It has no chat of its own: you ask in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, and that assistant analyzes the league data Flaim returns.

Platforms and sports

Football, baseball, basketball and hockey on ESPN and Yahoo; football and basketball on Sleeper. Fantrax is not listed.

How each league connects

ESPN needs Flaim's Chrome extension once, on a computer, to sync your ESPN session. Yahoo connects through Yahoo sign-in, and Sleeper through your username.

Where you ask

Flaim's docs say it is listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory and Claude's connector directory, with custom connector steps for Perplexity, Gemini and Grok.

Price

Free, with no subscription. Your AI service's own plan requirements still apply.

Safety and privacy

Is Flaim Fantasy safe and legit?

Flaim publishes setup guides, a privacy policy and its code on GitHub, and its documentation describes read-only access. League Loom has not audited Flaim's code or servers, so this is what Flaim's own pages say, checked October 3, 2026, beside how League Loom handles the same things.

Read-only

Flaim's docs say it cannot make trades, add or drop players, edit lineups or change league settings; it updates only its own list of your leagues. League Loom also has no tools that change your leagues.

Your logins

Flaim never asks for your ESPN or Yahoo password. Its extension reads the espn_s2 and SWID session cookies when you choose Sync to Flaim, Yahoo uses sign-in tokens, and Sleeper uses only your username. League Loom uses a public ESPN league URL, or the same two cookies pasted at setup for a private league, without an extension.

Storage and logs

Flaim's policy says stored credentials are encrypted at rest, never sent to the AI and kept until you disconnect. It logs which tool a connected app used, not your question or the AI's answer, and keeps raw usage events for up to 90 days. League Loom seals your credentials into an encrypted connection token that you hold.

Who runs it

Flaim says it is an independent project built and maintained by one person, not affiliated with ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper, OpenAI, Anthropic or Perplexity. League Loom is also independent and not affiliated with ESPN, Sleeper or Fantrax.

What this summary is not

  • A security audit or test of Flaim's code or servers.
  • A rating of either product's advice, which comes from your AI assistant.
  • Current if Flaim changes its policy after October 3, 2026. Read its privacy policy before you connect.
