Every score and every move, ready to post
League Loom lets Claude or ChatGPT read your league's final scores, standings and recent moves, then write the weekly recap your league chat expects.
The top score, the closest game, the blowout and the waiver drama come from your league's data, not a template. League Loom is a free, read-only connector; your assistant writes the recap and you decide what to post.

Before you start
ESPN and Sleeper leagues return scores, player points and moves. Fantrax returns matchup scores and transactions for publicly viewable leagues, or private ones with your Fantrax session cookie saved at setup; other Fantrax leagues show pairings without scores. Weekly recaps fit head-to-head leagues best.
You do not need to manage the best team to recap the league. Every matchup in a connected league can be read, so a commissioner or any league mate can write the recap.
League Loom never posts to your league chat or messages anyone. Copy the recap into Sleeper chat, a group text or your league's message board, or ask for a share link and paste that instead.
Get connected
Choose ESPN, Sleeper or Fantrax in setup and select the correct sport and season. ESPN private leagues need cookies; Sleeper uses your username; Fantrax uses your league URL and may need a Secret ID. Enter credentials only in the setup form.
Follow the current Claude or ChatGPT connection guide. League Loom is free; your AI app's plan and custom-connection requirements are separate. Keep your connection token private.
Copy the prompt below into your connected conversation. Confirm the league, season and scoring period, then review the answer before you post or act on it.

Worked example
Illustrative example with fictional teams. No real scores are implied.
Comeback Cats trail by 18 with one player left. The provider still shows the matchup in progress.
Asked on Sunday, the assistant marks that score provisional instead of naming a winner.
With final scores returned, the recap names the comeback as the closest game of the week and moves the Cats into the last playoff spot.
A recap is the one fantasy post the whole league reads. Recap templates still make someone type in every score.
With your league connected, the assistant reads the results itself, so the recap takes a minute and the details are right: who scored what, who claimed whom and who is sliding toward the bottom.
Template
Most league recaps follow the same shape. Ask the assistant to fill each line from your league's final scores and moves, and to skip any line the provider did not return.
The highest and lowest team scores, with the margin over the next team.
Both from final matchup scores; a provisional score is labeled as provisional.
Points left on the bench, from ESPN and Sleeper box scores. Fantrax returns team totals only.
The waiver claim or trade the league will talk about, from the week's transactions.
Who moved into or out of a playoff spot, and who is sliding toward last place.
You askFill in the recap template for week 7.
Score of the week: Bijan Mustard, 148.6, 9.1 more than anyone else.
Closest game: Comeback Cats 112.4, Gridiron Gang 111.9.
Biggest blowout: Hurts So Good 131.0, Waiver Warriors 71.2.
Move of the week: Waiver Warriors spent $41 on RB Player A.
Standings watch: Comeback Cats move into the last playoff spot.
Awards
Awards turn a recap into something the league looks forward to. Each of these can be worked out from returned scores, standings and moves.
The team that scored big and still lost.
The team that won on a quiet week.
The most points left on the bench, from ESPN and Sleeper box scores.
The best week from a player added that week, where transactions and player points both come back.
The most points scored against a team this season, from the standings.
Use League Loom to read every final matchup score in my league, player points where returned, the standings and this week's transactions. Hand out five weekly awards: highest-scoring loss, lowest-scoring win, most points left on the bench, best waiver add by points this week, and toughest luck by points against. Show the numbers behind each award, skip any award the returned data cannot support, and keep it friendly.
Newsletter
A newsletter adds what comes next to what just happened: this week's matchups, the playoff race and a short power ranking. It reads more data, so ask for one league at a time.
The recap: scores, awards and moves.
Every matchup on the schedule, with projections where the provider returns them.
Seeds, clinched and eliminated teams from the playoff math.

Before you connect
League Loom is a free connector with fair-use request budgets. It gives Claude or ChatGPT read access to your league, and your assistant writes the recap, so the assistant's own plan and custom-connection requirements apply separately.
Yes. It reads every matchup in the league for the scoring period you name, along with the standings and recent moves, so the recap covers the whole league.
The copyable prompt asks the assistant to end with one line crediting League Loom, so league mates know where the recap came from. Delete that sentence from the prompt, or ask the assistant to leave it off, if you would rather not include it.
Yes, for connected head-to-head leagues. Name the sport and scoring period. Basketball and hockey weeks have more games, so ask for the highlights rather than every player line.
No. League Loom never posts to your league. Copy the recap into your league chat, or ask your assistant for a share link: League Loom publishes the recap as a page with your league's real scores and standings, never league or team IDs, and you paste the link yourself. Shared pages last 30 days, and a private link removes one sooner.
Ask for the tone you want. The prompt keeps jokes about results rather than people, and the assistant should not invent quotes, injuries or trades that did not happen.
League Loom is a free, independent connector, not an official ESPN, Sleeper, Fantrax, Claude or ChatGPT plugin. Your league credentials stay sealed inside your encrypted connection, and League Loom's tools only read or analyze league data, apart from a recap or ranking page you ask it to share; you make every change in your fantasy app.
In Claude, yes: add League Loom on claude.ai or Claude Desktop first, then ask from Claude's phone app. ChatGPT custom apps run on the web only, not in ChatGPT's phone apps.
